Boston Dynamics tarttui DARPAn haasteeseen* ja alkoi kehittää robottejaan DARPAn haastetta silmällä pitäen. Tähän haasteeseen kuuluu humanoidirobotin kyky ajaa autoa, selvitä tikkaista, rappusista ym...

Niin... Katso kuinka tsunami pyyhkii yli rantojen tuhoten kaiken tieltään. Katso sitä kun elokuvaa turvallisesti täältä Suomesta. Hyvää viihdettä...

Se vaan, että siellä kameran toisessa päässä se on todellisuutta. Siellä on vaarassa mennä koteja, elinkeinoja, ja pahimmassa tapauksessa jopa henkiä. MTV3 markkinoi sitä kuitenkin kun uusinta katastrofielokuvaa.

No, ei sitä tsunamia tullut lopulta. Onneksi. MTV3:n pisteet meni kuitenkin, ainakin minun kohdalla.

DARPA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DARPA) järjesti joitakin vuosia sitten kilpailun autonomisesta autosta. Tämän kilpailun ansiosta robottiautojen kehitys lähti huimaan nousuun ja siitä syntyi mm. kuuluista itsestään ajava Google auto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdgQpa1pUUE

Nyt DARPA on ottamassa uuden askeleen. Humanoidirobotit:
