Nick McCarthy (Nicholas Augustine McCarthy Dec 13, 1974) is a guitarist, backing/lead vocalist, and keyboardist of the Scottish band Franz Ferdinand. Nick was born in Blackpool, England and grew up in Munich, Germany. He trained classically as a pianist and double bassist at the Munich Conservatory.
