Reviewsejä Lumiasta:
"After having all of the iPhones from the beginning, got fed up with the price of upgrades. Had trialled Mango on HTC7 which was ok but on the Lumia it's fantastic.
Very happy with the move, no looking back. Really like the Zune interface on PC. Beautiful build quality of phone.
Go on ... Go Mango on Lumia!!
PS. Battery needs to last a half day longer"
"i have owned android/ios and windows phone in the past but i dont know what it is about the lumia 800 it feels different somehow maybe its the speed and slickness of the OS but it feels and works amazingly well!!! i am massively surprised by this phone
maybe nokia could bring its own apps to the phone ? not jut another maps app but something to set it apart?"
"One of the primary reasons I think this phone is by far the best in the entire mobile market is because of the mobile Operating System.
Windows mobile functions extremely quickly and looks incredible on this phone. For usability, it's simply the best for ease of use, speed and general coolness.
It integrates all social networking into one, you're contact will have your mobile number, facebook, twitter, MSN Messenger, LinkedIn, Google etc.
For example, if you're sending a text to your friend, click a button and you can save money by sending it as a facebook chat message or MSN Messenger - that's just one of dozens awesome features.
X-Box Live, Nokia Drive, Ministry of Sound & Last FM, integration improves the services offered.
The only flaw I've found so far is perhaps the battery life, which is still better than my old smartphones, plus, they've clearly addressed this by having a simple "Battery Saver" choice to automatically save battery when your battery is on xx% or whenever you want to set it.
I think the main message I want to get across, this is phone is incredibly easy to use and makes everything look nice including the phone itself.
It integrates work and your social life, for example through Outlook Exchange and Office for personal and People and Group tiles for social interaction.
Thank you Nokia!"
"Not just a phone but even a rare piece of craftsmanship. Buy creating such a rare piece of craftsmanship and even a rare piece of technology,Nokia has proved that the are really back. Windows Phone OS just rightly fits on this phone (Lumia 800). Thumbs Up for Nokia. Wish You success :)"
"I won't repeat what has already been written, I am just glad that Nokia is back ;-)"
"I was eagerly waiting for the partnership of Microsoft and Nokia to come up with a phone. I am not dissapointed. What a brilliant OS and beautiful phone. Nokia back on top again."
"Simply Marvellous..What a phone ...I mean it has both Nokia's Wow factor..and Microsoft's best UI till date..and together it is indeed a deadly combination and a seriously heavy competition for Apple is finally out in the market.
Apple has been ruling the industry for a while now ever since they launched their first flagship phone in 2007. And being a gadget lover myself, I never parted from my iPhones ever since the first one I bought in first 2 weeks of the launch. I kept upgrading and have used their every model till date including the iPhone 4S that I pre-ordered. And I must say no Samsung, Blackberry, LG or HTC has come this close to the competition like Nokia has. Android is good and efficient but the style factor that Nokia brings is just amazing and like no other. I wasn't expecting much from the App store but I must say I am very surprised by the Microsoft's collection in there. It still has some way to go, as compared to Apple store but boy is it right on track to do so. I spend 2 weeks of testing before actually writing this review, and that when I already had my iPhone 4S, which I deliberately stopped using to see if this phone can actually replace it in my hand during daily use, and after being addicted to iPhone for years.
And other than the serious low battery issues, I can safely say that I have officially switched this with my iPhone now. Hoping the app store keeps growing and they resolve this battery issues soon. I read somewhere they are releasing some s/w updates soon that will improve battery. Hopefully that's true. Fingers Crossed xxx"
"I have an HTC Mozart and the Nokia Lumia 800,they both run windows 7 but the difference between the two phones is unbelievable, the Lumia is much better looking, has a more solid feel to it and is a lot faster in use,out of the two phones that i have, its the Nokia that i will be using most, quite possibly the best phone i have ever had,and i have had more than most."
