In your mind, you don't repair for points, you repair so that our tanks(& other vehicles) makes our team stronger.
In your mind, you don't always equip lethal killstreaks; you equip the powerful UAV's so your teammates can find the enemies with ease. (MW3)
Even in TDM your ultimate goal is to kill as many as you can to make your team win, not to make your k/d or score look good.
