with a two days headache and about half of my exam done, I'm back home
I have to admit, the only one exam which I quite enjoyed, okey, quite a lot, was Spanish, oh Gosh, I want to speak that language :P and not just because of Ville because he's over

but hey, somebody tell me, what's the point in doing all of this?...

PS: Somebody kill the sun! No, just literally but why it has to shine that much? I'm not living in Spain to get sun burnt everyday!!!

edit: I need to create something, at least something small (and no, I don't count when I 'create' a smile on somebody's else face), but I found out that when I don't create anything in 2 months or so, I feel very depressed then

edit2: after eating big bunch of strawberries and watching Sweeney Todd (I've already missed the movie), I feel quite fine again, the movie is good cure for any depression :D

I'm listening to their new album on their MySpace and just wondering which sone I will add to my profile because it's genial, I don't understand a single word (except äiti ja isä) but it's amazing how it can describe Your feelings, I deeply bow in front of them!!!

I have to study now but well.... I'm lazyyy and tired, I don't want to :P

In April, I got to know about Helsinki in Berlin event, it was a week before the show I wanted to go and so those 5 days were hyperactive for me, find busses, get tickets, and after all I couldn't go even though I won 2 tix. The travelling would cost me too much.
I wanted to go for the show on 22-4-08 Poets of the fall, Manboy and Lovex, because of Manboy
and this is what I wrote to get the tix (why your fave band is teh best?):

Hello, in this year's festival You have tons of great bands who I'd like to see live but the most I'd look forward to Manboy. It was suprising that not many people still know them but anyone who will have a chance to see them live will never regret it because it's simple the top of the performances.
What first catch people is probably the unique sound with unmistakable finnish salient feature, then the voice of Karo will bring You into another world and on top of that, You will enjoy high performance which You won't forget that easily. Know what I'm talking about, had an honour to see them once.
So everyone who is going, enjoy and rock like You will never rock again.

Lovex - Pretend or Surrender, 2008

The new album is the best theyÂ’ve ever released, at least for me. There are more songs than whatÂ’s usual and still all the songs are different to each other, they all tell different story and have different sounds and I feel like with this album, Lovex opened up more for the rest of the world, the guitar riffs are excellent and yeah, they grew up ro great musicians.

o1) If SheÂ’s Near
~ I like the „fist fight“ in the song „... so please, take me out of here...“ makes You sing along ~

o2) Turn
~ the beginning sounds like Gemini Five ‚Flesh for fantasy‘, this song remins me of all the memories that are gone; I love how Theon pronouce „... stay with me...“ ~

o3) Take a Shot
~ itÂ’s the first single but itÂ’s too different to the rest that I was almost scared, when I heard this song that the album will be the same old Lovex style, but fortunately this song is something like a bridge between the past and new Lovex sound ~

o4) Different Light
~ my lovely one, the simple keyboards fits to it, I like the chorus from the ‚lyrics point of view‘ ~

o5) Writings On The Wall
~ I like the arrangement of the song and the second half of the song, like the guitar could speak :)~

o6) Time And Time Again
~ my fave one, You know I love those ‚sweet‘ songs but I love the lyrics and the composition, the feeling like it’s a movie song, should be on a soundtrack to something ~

o7) Belonging To No One
~ yummy song :D I love the sound even though the title, I don’t agree with it; „... I’m a servant...“ great, another palvelija or servant in Essentia lyrics ~

o8) My Isolation
~ he really pronounce „sadows“ ? if yes, then it’s typical for Finns and it’s lovelyyyy; reminds me of Entwine ‚Chameleon halo‘, I know, it’s totally different but this was first what came up to my mind ~

o9) Rid Of Me
~ funny, first I almost burst into laughter with the beginning of teh song, the Japanese sound, hehe very experimental, but in the end, I like this song and the ‚Japanese‘ sound make this song special ~

1o) Ordinary Day
~ I had a feeling that this song is there just by accident, it seems like it has nothing special what can bring to people... BUT, it has and thatÂ’s the solo part which is amazing and thatÂ’s the reason for me to listen to this song ~

11) End Of The World
~ my second fave, but actually the lyrics doesn’t fit the sound, I mean, I feel it like that; the lyrics reminds me of 30 seconds to Mars ‚A beautiful lie‘ and The Rasmus ‚Last Generation‘ but still this one is different ~

12) End Of The World (Outro)
~ I love this, itÂ’s so desperate but yet full of beauty ~

13) Save Me
~ the piano part at teh beginning is pretty contrasting to the rest, „... save me to save me from myself...“ ahhh ~

14) Love and Lust
~ nice title *devil smile*, nice drums ~

Negative - Karma Killer, 2008

o1) A Devil On My Shoulder
~ reminds me of H.I.M.‘s songs, but I really like this one, it’s NEGATIVE :D ~

o2) Sealed
~ reminds me of Technicolour, maybe ‚Fireflies‘ a bit; „...only sorrow and pain...“~

o3) WonÂ’t Let Go
~ after first hearing I was like „erm, what?“ because it’s different to the other songs on the album, but it’s typical for Negative ~

o4) Motherfucker (Just Like You)
~ I don’t like the title but I like the word in the song, how is it sung; another ‚Misty Morning‘ alike? :D ~

o5) Giving Up
~ probably my favourite song, I love the beat, the lyrics, the everything!!! and the beginning reminds me deffinitely of Entwine ‚Learn to let go‘ ~

o6) An Ornament
~ again reminds me of some H.I.M. song, but just the lyrics where is sung „... I‘m just an ornament, an ornament to Your face... and ornament in Your garden...“ ~

o7) Dead As We
~ pretty melodic ~

o8) Anna Simona
~ interesting title, I love this one, in some way it is powerful yet fragile song ~

o9) Lust n Needs
~ hehe, ‚Love and Lust‘ by Lovex, no, just the title of the song :), and reminds me of NGT ‚Misty Morning‘, the riff ~

1o) Gravity Of Love
~ ‚Childhood memories‘ „I’m glad that I’m still alive“ =) yeah yeah, ‚Still Alive’and I didn’t like the voice of the woman in it, but have to admit she has really great voice and after all, it fits perfectly ~

What a surprise when I found out Gary in Negative, but I'm over it and now, well, I don't miss Sir Christus in Negative anymore, the new album is great, in style of Negative but heavier with more riffs and they put much more in it than in any previouse album, I love the guitars, would love to see them live, it would be the rock ‚n‘ roll show!

Reflexion - Dead To The Past, Blind For Tomorrow, 2008

o1) Non-Stop Glorious Ride
~ great Reflexion song with more heavy riffs then ever before, itÂ’s great itÂ’s the first song on the album because it kick You to want more ~

o2) Embrace Of Wrath
~ and the show goes on, reminds me of SoulRelic - ‚Hollow Craving‘ and the part where is sung „Blessed by this world...“ reminds me of Entwine’s old stuff ~

o3) Twilight Child
~ ahhh... like For my pain did wake up ~

o4) Dancing In The Air
~ the beat is again like Soul Relic, I mean, it reminds me of not it really is ~

o5) Dead Without You
~ finally an easy, laid-back one ~

o6) Weak And Tired
~ the song, which stucked in my head the most, IÂ’ve sung it already after one listening ~

o7) Black Is The Colour Of Your Life
~ if no othe song, this one has to stay in Your mind, I feel like this one reflex Reflexion the most ~

o8) The One With No Name
~ it’s full of speed but it’s definitely SoulRelic’s ‚Hollow Craving‘ ~

o9) Forever Got Too Long
~ good concert song, everyone can sing along ~

1o) The Thousand Nails In My Heart
~ an assosiation with Negative ‚1000 nails in my heart‘ =), but this is the only one song, which I don’t need to listen much because I don’t like th refrain, it doesn’t fit my taste, but the rest of the song is mre than ok ~

11) Just One Word (Goodbye)
~ it’s my fave, my love, I love slow songs and this reminds me of wonderful Poets of the Fall and Mark’s voice in ‚Carnival of Rust‘ / ‚Late Goodbye‘, but it’s magical because it’s Reflexion ~

I know him, 'mun' Gary :( hehe sh*t, what about Technicolour then?
but mainly that when I first saw him with NGT I was like: "Hei, this guy looks like Gary from TC, but it's not him.".... oh gosh, well, another lost star (no more gigs like in Nosturi last year ,-( )
and have to say, my 'brother' has beautiful voice... awwww... I'm starting to like the new album, mostly 'Giving up' but 'Gravity of Love' reminds me of 'Still Alive' in some way
