Boy Eats Girl (Komedia/Kauhu, Irlanti, 2005)

Nathan on hulluna Jessicaan, mutta ei uskalla ottaa ensimmäistä askelta. Kun hän näkee Jessican koulun himotuimman kundin kanssa, hän masentuu. Niin pahasti, että menee kotiin ja hirttää itsensä.

Onneksi Nathanin äiti löytää pojan - ja osaa vähän voodoota, jolla Nathan saadaan nousemaan kuolleista. Mutta poppakonstilla on ikäviä sivuvaikutuksia mm. ruokahaluun. Nathan tyydyttää nälkäänsä näykkimällä ihmisiä. Parasta herkkua olisi tietysti Jessica...

Fido (Komedia/Kauhu, Kanada, 2006)

Billy Connolly ja Carrie-Ann Moss ovat pääosissa tässä kammottavan ihanassa komediassa.

Idyllisessä Willardin pikkukylässä asukkaat elävät sulassa sovussa zombien kanssa. Elävien ja kuolleiden välisen sodan jälkeen asukkaat ovat kehittäneet välineen joka estää zombeja tappamasta. Niin he kaikki ainakin luulevat... Timmy Robinsonin paras ystävä koko maailmassa on kaksimetrinen mätänevä zombie nimeltä Fido. Mutta kun Fido syö lähinaapurin, Äiti ja Isä saavat sätkyn. 00.45 - Elokuva: Lötköjen Yö

The Protector (Toiminta, Thaimaa, 2005)

Khamin (Tony Jaa, Ong-Bak) suku on läpi aikojen varjellut pyhää norsua, jolla legendan mukaan on maagisia voimia. Kun Madame Rosen (Xing Jing) johtama salaperäinen järjestö varastaa kallisarvoisen eläimen, lähtee Kham yhden miehen sotaan mafiaa vastaan. Raivatessaan tietä kohti rikollisjoukon ydintä Kham saa kimppuunsa joukoittain verenhimoisia vastustajia ja toinen toistaan viheliäisempiä taistelupareja, kuten ketterän capoeira-taistelijan (ZeroGravity- tiimin Lateef Crowder) ja järkälemäisen turvamiehen (WWF-tähti Nathan Jones). Heitä vastaan hän käy aseenaan vain itse kehittämänsä thainyrkkeilytyyli, raivostuneen elefantin liikkeisiin perustuva Muay Kotchasan.

Sensaatiomaisen Ong-bak -elokuvan ohjaaja Prachya Pinkaew tekee näyttävän paluun vauhdikkaalla elokuvallaan the protector eli Tom Yum Goong, joka sinkoutuu kertaheitolla kamppailuelokuvien eliittiin. Loisteliaat toimintakohtaukset on toteutettu perinteitä kunnioittaen ilman vaijereita, erikoisefektejä tai sijaisnäyttelijöitä. Pääosassa nähdään nuori supertähti Tony Jaa.
