Antalya tourist attractions
1. Doden waterfall
Located about 12 kilometers from the city center, the Duden waterfalls are a sight to see, and seeing a group of them is very popular with locals and tourists alike.

Originating in the Taurus Mountains, this water flows through the karst countryside around Antalya before plunging dramatically into the Mediterranean Sea at the Doden Falls below.

While the lower falls are best viewed on board, the upper falls are a delightful picnic spot. They are located in a small scenic gorge. Here, you can enter a cave behind the waterfall, which is a mesmerizing experience as the water cascades over the cliff in front of you.

2. Saklikent ski resort
If you are not afraid of heights and you love excitement, we suggest that after buying an Antalya tour, you should immediately go to Saklikent Ski Resort and Antalya Paraglider on Turvers Mountain. Turvers Mountain is one of the best tourist areas in Antalya, where many athletes visit this area for skiing or paragliding in spring and winter. There are various facilities in this complex, such as cable car, paraglider and accommodation complex.

3. The old city of Kalichi
The historical center of the city is full of old Ottoman mansions and beautiful buildings dating back to the Roman and Byzantine eras. As such, Kaleici is an absolute delight to wander around. Warren streets like that are the perfect place to get lost and enjoy all the sights and sounds of Antalya.

With countless restaurants, shops and atmospheric cafes to choose from, there is plenty to see and do. There are also some lovely little art galleries to visit. Among the narrow streets are amazing buildings such as the 18th-century Tekeli Mehmet Pasa Mosque and the beautiful Kesik Minaret, while life revolves around the beautiful main square.

For many visitors, Kaleici is the highlight of their trip. If you want to experience the intoxicating combination of contemporary and traditional Turkish life, you should not miss it.

4. Hadrian's Gate
Equally impressive and dramatic, Hadrian's Gate is a magnificent monument built in honor of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, who visited Antalya in 130 AD. The triumphal arch is well preserved and still serves as one of the main entrances to the historical Kaleici quarter.

The three arches are lined with columns and the ceiling has beautiful carvings that you can admire. Two old towers nicely frame Hadrian's Gate on both sides. While the old defensive walls still surround most of the city, Hadrian's Gate is the only remaining entrance gate.

5. Aspendus
Amazing, Aspendos has to be seen to be believed. Although it is located about 40 kilometers from Antalya, it is definitely worth the trip to see the stunning scenery that greets you.

One of Turkey's top tourist attractions is the incredibly well-preserved Aspendos Roman Theater, built around 155 AD. It sits on the side of a hill, its grand entrance towers over you as you enter. The mind is overwhelmed by its magnitude and scale.

Away from the theatre, there are a number of other ruins to explore, such as the ruins of the Basilica, the Aqueduct and the Agora. The highlight is undoubtedly the amazing theater that attracts people from all over the world.

6. Antalya Archaeological Museum
One of the best major museums in all of Turkey, the Antalya Archaeological Museum is a must-see collection of ancient artifacts from the city and its surrounding areas.

History buffs will absolutely love its extensive archaeological sections, which feature stunning mosaics, silver jewelry, and beautiful sculptures from Perge and Byzantium. Covering more than five thousand years of history, these exhibits include amazing ruins and artifacts from the Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine times. 7. Lara Beach
Located about ten kilometers east of the historic center, Lara Beach is a lovely place to relax and unwind while watching the rays. It is a peaceful place with plenty of tourist facilities as you bask in the sun as the Mediterranean sea laps by the shore.

So you can easily have a drink or sit down to eat in one of the nearby restaurants.

8. Tunektepe
Overlooking the western side of Antalya is Tunk Tepe, a large hill that offers impressive views of the city, Antalya Bay, and the coastline.

One of the best ways to reach the top is to use the cable car on the hillside. Upstairs, there is a restaurant as well as a night club if you want to dance the night away in a memorable place. If clubbing isn't your thing, Tonk Tepe is worth a visit just for the magnificent views it offers.
