بدأت شركات الطيران إلى اللجوء لاستخدام أسلوب مبتكر للفت انتباه المسافرين، لتعليمات السلامة بالرحلات الجوية، وذلك عبر بث شرائط فيديو تحتوي على أمور غير تقليدية، مثل لقطات عارية للمضيفات، أو حتى استخدام شخصيات كرتونية مضحكة، وذلك ضمن إطار المنافسة المستعرة بين الشركات.

فعلى سبيل المثال، قامت شركة الخطوط الجوية النيوزلندية، أواخر حزيران الماضي، بعرض شريط فيديو، ضمن إطار حملتها الترويجية بعنوان "لا نخفي شيئاً"، تظهر فيه خمسة من مضيفاتها وهم يقومون بشرح إجراءات السلامة في الرحلات الجوية وهم "عراة"، ولا يغطيهم سوى طلاء، يخفي ما يخفي ويظهر ما يظهر.
