I början av september äventyrade ett gäng konfirmander, hjälpisar och ungdomsledare (inklusive Sussie, Maria och Ben) ut i Åbo skärgård. Efter att ha överlevt en lång och utmattande bussresa kom de äntligen fram till den ökända byn Näsby på ön Houtskär. Med viss misstänksamhet bekantade de sig med utrymmena, men till slut kom man fram till att dessa var helt nöjaktiga (med undantag från de mystiska dusch- och toalettutrymmena).

Man fick njuta av ett vackert sommarväder med undantag för lite regn, och under denna blå himmel hände det en hel del saker. Vissa glada saker, som till exempel vår kära präst Ben Thilmans födelsedagsfirande och konfirmationen av sonen av den finländska ambassadören i Marocko. Sen också vissa mindre glada saker som att en konfirmand äventyrade med sin hälsa genom att slå handen genom en glasdörr och fick åka direkt till närmaste hälsostation (som låg på 100 meters avstånd), och att en chokladbit fattade eld efter att ha värmts upp i en mikrovågsugn.

Tillslut kunde man dock inte förneka ett faktum: de modiga kristna hade klarat sej både genom regn, rusk, Ruskar och föråldrade ryska pumpfrön. Fast det dock hade hörts snack om hemskickningar och komiska berättelser om tomtar, så visade det sig slutligen vara så att allt detta bara var prat. Och när man kom fram till Kyrktian den 9 september så var det nog så för många, att tårarna var svåra och hålla tillbaka. Sist och slutligen så handlade denna skriba ju om en grupp människor som hade slutit starka band mellan varandra för evigt, och om en mängd med oförglömliga händelser.
