Laulajalegenda Ronnie James Dio haudataan 30. toukokuuta Los Angelesin Forest Lawnin Hollywood Hills -hautausmaalle. Dion ystävät ja fanit on kutsuttu mukaan julkiseen tilaisuuteen.

Metal Underground -sivuston mukaan Westboron babtistikirkko aikoo tulla kuokkimaan hautajaisiin, koska uskovaiset syyttävät Dioa saatananpalvojaksi.

- Protestin tarkoituksena on muistuttaa kaikille, jotka palvovat saatanaa, että aikamme täällä on hyvin rajallinen, he julistavat kotisivuillaan ja lisäävät todisteeksi väitteilleen 67-vuotiaana kuolleen Dion lanseeraamat pirunsarvet.

- Hän vihaa Jumalaa. Huomatkaa, että hän vaihtoi nimensä Padovan (oikein kirjoitettuna Padavona) Dioksi, joka tarkoittaa italiaksi Jumalaa.

Westboron babtistikirkko on tunnettu radikaaleista mielipiteistään. Uskovaiset ovat ottaneet kantaa Suomenkin asioihin muun muassa Jokelan ja Kauhajoen kouluammuskeluiden yhteydessä.

Kirkko juhli näyttelijä Heath Ledgerin kuolemaa, jonka se näki olevan suora seuraus Ledgerin roolista homomiehenä elokuvassa Brokeback Mountain.
