Temporary closure of YHA London Earl's Court

On 6th April 2006 serious damage was caused at YHA London Earl's Court by a
fire that took hold at the Youth Hostel in the early hours. Everyone was
evacuated safely after the alarm was raised and the fire officers at the
scene have praised hostel staff for the way they put emergency procedures
into action.

For safety reasons and in view of subsequent building renovation work at YHA
London Earl's Court, the Youth Hostel will now unfortunately be unable to
accommodate guests until 1st September 2006.

We take note of your last e-mail and will try to find accommodation for you
two females in another YHA London hostel at no extra charge.

I will try to send you an e-mail tomorrow with the result of the relocation.
