Association football, also known as just football, is a well-known team sport generally played between two teams of eleven players. It is played by more than 250 million players worldwide in more than 200 countries and dependencies, leaving it the most popular sport in the world. The game is predominantly played in a rectangular area, which is divided into two halves. Each team wears different colored jerseys which signify their place on the half or field. The match is usually played in a single extra time segment, with extra time being added for extra goals or defensive tactics.

A wide variety of other sports and recreational activities are enjoyed by football fans around the globe. โปรแกรมบอล แมนยู Rugby is a well-known sport played between teams of different sexes and age that has its own set of rules, including how to tackle, throw and catch the football. The game is also often played between international teams; some nations have created their own national league, including the British premiership cup, which is currently the biggest competition in the sport. Another form of football is American football, which is the oldest major domestic game in North America. Professional and college football games are played among American schools and colleges, as well as in other countries abroad.

Football is a game where two teams attempt to tackle and hit each other with a ball. This is done with the use of both feet and legs, with kicking being optional. The object of the game is to score more points ("teams" or "points") than the other team. In general terms, the object of the game is to kick the ball through an upright pole at a rate that does not allow the opposing team to return the ball.

The game of football evolved in the United States and England, which were both nations that had significant influence on the development of the game. The history of football in America can be divided into the Pre-colonial and Colonial periods. During the Pre-colonial period, football was popular among the plantation workers in the southern United States. Because of this, the game spread from the southern plantation workers to the European immigrants who settled in what would become New England and the Mid-Atlantic states.

As the colonial and colonization societies began to develop stronger ties to each other, the football leagues of the United States began to spring up. By the nineteenth century, professional and college teams were formed in what would become the American football association (AFL) and several additional regionalizations sprouted up. The first official football competition, the "World's Largest Soccer tournament", which pitted American universities against European teams in what is now the NCAA, began in Division I in Division II. A few decades later, the very first professional football game, known as "NFL" (American football) was formed. Today, there are six different divisions of football in the United States.

As the sport has developed over the years, its international appeal has also grown. There are currently six nations playing football today - Canada, Mexico, Australia, France, England and the USA. Each of these nations only has two teams - an offense and defense - and no special international or conference affiliations with any football league. Each game involves eleven players on each team.
