Hiya y'all!

Haven't been blogging for a while! Isn't that a biatch..? Well, I was watching this movie called Motherhood today, with Uma Thurman in it, and it suddenly got me thinking! I have been going through a odd state of life; it's like all the bad stuff, the useless, hurtful, painful stuff of my past that has been holding me in it's iron fist for years now has finally started to release me! And I tell you; it feels GREAT! I have started doing things I have wanted to do for such a long time, but didn't have energy to do before! But now I'm getting side-tracked from the topic in hand, the topic that popped into my head while watching the movie..

The topic is; Beautiful People! Lets begin!

Have you ever wondered what makes a person beautiful..? There is inner beauty and outer beauty. Are both equally important, or is other one far more so..? I'll answer the first question first! Ahem.. I think the most important ingredient that makes someone stand out, makes him or her beautiful, is one's personality! No matter how rugged the outside is, if the person is humorous, intelligent, witty, and all the other things, then that person shines inner light like a beacon. And people are drawn toward a person like that like ships on the ocean.

"A person who has good thought cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely." . Roald Dahl

I think Roald Dahl put it right, don't you..? I think he has said all I have to say about that!

And then, about the outer and inner beauty. Some people, sadly, only see the fancy wrapping. Hell, some even look for it, not sparing a single thought to the fact that a gift wrapped in a nice and shiny paper doesn't mean that the thing inside is anything fancier than a old pair of jogging socks. Trust me, even if you would pour glitter on them to make them prettier, the foulness would shine through. Some people are "fortunate enough" to have both; looks and dashing personality. But if you ask me, I think the inner beauty, in the end, is the thing that matters the most (: For example, when it comes to my taste in men, some would say it's horrible. Trust me, I have heard this alot! Now, you just have to bear with me here when I talk about my interest in the testosterone filled lifeform *chuckle*.. Well then, where was I..? Oh, so, about the men I prefer!

I have always liked men with some brain in that head of theirs; I mean a brain they choose to use, when others just acknowledge it's excistense and leave it to that.. The saying "Brains are sexy" is quite true! Intelligent is sexy! If only men would understand that, at least in these parts of the world *sigh*.. Other thing I love is the ability to joke, to have fun! Humorous, funny men are what captures my eye! (: I'm quite a joker myself, and I think the ability to have fun in life is crucial; you can't go through life with a straight face or with a pout on your lips! That's just wrong! So, what about the looks then, some of you may ask..? Well, of course the men I like do look good; to me! And that's the bottom line; they look good in my opinion!

I believe that one's personality affects a great deal to their outside. For example, someone may not appear beautiful when you first lay your eyes on them. But then you hear what that said person has to say, you get to see him or her in action, and you discover he or she has the most amazing personality! And just like that, the person doesn't look that bad anymore. The inner light they have is bursting through in all of it's glory! On the other hand, someone may be extremely attractive on the outside. But then they go and open their mouth, spitting out nasty and hurtful words, acting rude towards other people, thinking they own the world. And suddenly, the person doesn't seem so pretty anymore. The foul nature is seeping through their every fiber, dimming down the former shine of their wrapper.

So, I think it's safe to say that what makes person truly beautiful, in my opinion at least, is their inner self, inner beauty, inner light (:

Thank You for reading, if you got all the way through that rant x3 Just wanted to share my thought with you guys! Remember, you are all beautiful in your own way; don't let people tell you otherwise! Some may try to push you down, calling you with hurtful names, but I think those kind of people are just trying to fill the emptiness inside. They are jealous, bitter, and you should not allow them to walk over you!
