Many of the papers have picked up on Martin O'Neill's comments yesterday about James Milner wanting out and are reporting Roberto Mancini will make what they are describing as a 'Take it or Leave it' bid of £24million.nike shoes 2009

Martin O'Neill said: 'There is a difference in valuation and a question mark over the player but I'm sure things will get resolved one way or the other in the near future.

'I had a chat with James before the World Cup and he initimated he would like to go.

'I haven't spoken to him since. I know there have been conversations with his agent and our chief executive.

'Manchester City have made an offer for the player. The valuation has not been reached at this minute.nike air max 2009 'James is due back next week after an extended stay after the World Cup.'

The sticking point seems to be the fee now, as it appears he wants out and Man City want him.

However, we all remember what happened when Liverpool played hardball with us over Gareth Barry's valuation just 2 summers ago.

The bid is an improvement on the rejected offer of £20million before the World Cup but still seems to fall short of our £30million valuation.

O'Neill will have to take into account how much less Milner will be worth next summer plus the prospect of having an unhappy player in the squad if he rejects the bid. nike air max tailwind 2009 women

So our new poll puts you in the shoes of Martin O'Neill - if this is to be the final offer, (and bearing in mind Milner wants to go) should we accept the offer or try to hold out for more and run the risk of having an unhappy player and making less money next summer anyway?
