Many people who seem superficial do have 'deep' interests or tendencies. The problem is that their more surface features are easy to see, but their deeper traits are more hidden. There are people who seem like dumb, vain and superficial, but who read constantly and can easily hold their own in a discussion about economics or politics. All thought it's kind of pathetic to shout out loud all the money worthy things.
Also if you hate kids and still want to have them someday and when they are born you give them to nannies and further on to boarding school... Hmm.. I highly recommend you never ever have children.
