Main role
The main and usual role is to carry out technical work relating to the installation, maintenance and optimal operation of the various software, systems and IT equipment of his sector.
Characteristic attributes
PC Technician Job description: Mounts, installs, repairs, maintains, configures, tests and evaluates the computer and telecommunications equipment of his sector. Assumes responsibility for network administration, data backup, access granting or any other task at the same level.
Assists and guides the applicants in the preparation and conduct of works, laboratories and workshops. Provides explanations and advice on the choice of working methods and the use of different techniques, instruments and equipment related to its sector of activity.
Proposes and realizes, using software or programming language, the development of applications or IT tools according to the needs of the sector or problems encountered
Provides customer support and staff training in various areas of office automation, computer and telecommunications.
Collaborates with the authorities of its sector and advises on equipment and working methods that meet the needs and ensure the efficient and optimal use of equipment, networks, operating systems, various software, etc. Perform the necessary research under the circumstances.
Manipulates, transports, classifies and lists the equipment and materials under its responsibility. Provides maintenance and supply.
Complete various forms and prepare reports, guides and documents related to his work.
