Nike 2010 Training Shoe Review

Yesterday, I reviewed 2 of the 5 new Training shoes that Nike unveiled last week in California. The new Nike SC 2010 Trainer Low and the New Nike Edge Trainer. Today I'll be reviewing the the other 3 Training shoes, the new Nike Free Trainer, the new Nike Zoom Huarache Mid and the new Nike Trainer 1.2. The Nike Trainer 1.2 has yet to hit the shelves so this will be the FIRST SNEAK PEAK at this shoe.

Whereas yesterday's shoes focused on a style of training built more around strength, the next 3 shoes in Nike's Trainer line are focused on speed, they're built with a player like Adrian Peterson, Troy Polamalu and Larry Fitzgerald in mind. These shoes are very light and flexible allowing for more "feel" and articulation, while still maintaining great support, multi-directional traction and protection for the athlete.

HERE THEY ARE:

The Nike Free Trainer

The Nike Free Trainer is the lightest and fastest shoe in the line of Training shoes. This shoe was deisgned for your lighter, quicker athlete to be able to perform at their highest level during sprint drills, cone drills, running routes, or covering receivers while also being versatile enough to feel good in the weight room. This shoe gives them confidence to run fast on the field and that feeling of strength and stability that they prefer in the weight room. When you think of this shoe think of Darell Rivas and Adrian Peterson.

The Nike Zoom Huarache Mid

The Nike Zoom Hurache Mid incorporates a little more material around the ankle to give the athlete a little more support and protection for making cuts, getting off the block and stopping and starting. When you think of this shoe, think of Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polamalu. In fact, Larry Fitzgerald is the athlete they worked directly with in designing this shoe and all the color choices for this shoe have been inspired by different times in Larry's career. From a purple, yellow and white version to signify his days as a ball boy for the Vikings, a blue and gold version for his college playing days at Pitt, a red and black version for his time now as a Cardinal, to even a black and pink version as a memory of his mother, who past away from breast cancer. Did I mention yesterday that the shoes should speak to the athlete...
