brigade - come morning we fightTorstai 15.05.2008 00:44

OK, SO, BRIGADE KIND OF OWNS MY SOUL. LIKE, TOTALLY. LIKE, REALLY TOTALLY.
OK GUYS! IRELAND!
...was awesome. Madly pretty - no, not pretty. Try breathtaking instead? Yeah. And the accents? DUDE. THE ACCENTS. *swooooooooon* So, first we went to Gerry Farm, in the little village of Ballygarret in southeastern Ireland, yeah? And the farm was like 300 years old, and so was the madly beautiful cottage and all. And there we lived for a week, planting onions and potatoes and carrots and cleaning flowerbeds and stuff. And it was hot, and didn't rain at all, and we met lots of awesome people, and the radio we had with us to the greenhouse kept playing Can't Speak French (what was with that anyway?) and we worked our asses off all day and then went shopping and it was so good!!

Then came the scary part. Oh yes, there is one of those too, guys. ;)
One word: SHEEP. No, seriously. Forget about snakes or spiders (or, well, don't, because I'm still terrified of them), forget about bananas and alarm clocks. SHEEP, guys. They are the most scary animals on the planet! Don't agree with me? Try standing alone on an abandoned main road somewhere in Ireland, with sweaty palms and dirty sweatpants, and staring at the group of 20-something sheep running right at you, and knowing that you have to stop them from getting past you.
You'd be terrified, too.
BUT I DID IT! Well, I didn't, they got past me twice, but I had the dogs to help me get them back. (OH YEAH, about the dogs! What's with the drooling in my hair all the time, Millie? And why do all Irish dogs have such a passion of licking my hands/pants/wellies? Wtf?) Then we took the sheep to the factory (and yeah allright I am NEVER eating lamb again okay?) and I figured it was all over.

It wasn't.

'Cause we had to go back and get the final four sheep two days later?
So, if you thought standing alone on a main road with 20-something sheep spurting towards you with every intention of crushing you/killing you/kicking your arse/eating you alive/everything at the same time (told you I'm terrified of them!) was scary?
Try standing alone on an empty main road with one single sheep a few metres from you, trembling and horrified when said sheep keeps staring at you and looking like he's laughing inwards, with that special "HAHA, I know the kind of yous, you gobshite, you'll never catch me if I now run past you so I'm just gonna make you feel safe for a second and then I'll make a run for it and you'll be dead BWHAHAHHAHAAAA!"-look in his eyes? THAT, my friends, is SCARY.

Yah, well, anyway. I'm still alive and kicking, which means the sheep didn't get me. Thank God. (I have some really terrifying bruises all over me, though!)
Well, so. I survived the sheep, and then the one week was over, and we were off to Wicklow, to return to the citylife.

And Wicklow is just really pretty? It's a kind of small town, and we stayed with these really amazing people, and the first night we went bowling (and they all kicked my arse so bad it's not even pretty, haha) and then we made our bed on the huge couch in the livingroom - AND THEN! We discovered the miracle with Declan's TV.

I don't own a TV, okay? So I'm allowed to get a little worked up over a TV. Especially if it's a 37'' flatscreen wall-TV, with all great channels including Kerrang!tv and NMEtv and all the UK main ones, so I could watch Top Gear and Never Mind The Buzzcocks and everything I wanted, whenever I wanted. BUT ESPECIALLY KERRANG!TV! Dude, I loved that channel. And NMEtv kept showing all these PATD-videos and SP and Fightstar and Brigade and Paramore and everything you could possibly imagine? SO, SO GOOD, YOU GUYS. And then me and Aurora, we'd lie there in our king-size bed and watch old reprises of Sex and the City until almost 1 AM, and then we'd wake up and look at more Kerrang!tv, and just, yes.

And then we went to DUBLIN! And it was so beautiful, guys! And great for shopping. Especially for CD:s! (Yah, I walked out with the new Brigade, the new Elliot Minor, the old Fall Out Boy, the new Snow Patrol, the old Oasis, and yah, let's just say HMV made lots of money on me that day, haha.)
And then we saw the Book of Kells, and St Patrick's Cathedral, and everything, and it was so gorgeous, all of it. AND THE ACCENTS, ALL OVER AGAIN!! <3

And it was so SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD to come home from there, you know. But yah, here I am. AND I MISSED YOU GUYS!!!<3

(Okay, whoops. That's kinda long. Sorry. Enjoy! :DD)

VIE! (Very Important Edit!)
me and Jenny spoke on the phone every night. This has caused my phone bill to grow into humongous proportions, WHOOPS! :D but meh. It was fun. I even let her listen to the pig! (the womanpig, not the manpig. HAHA.)
