This is not a beak, my lovely child. It is a claw! For I am the finger!

Tein muutaman stripin lisää, ja about-sivun sarjakuvaan selventääkseni joitakin asioita. Tässä sama teksti. (englantini on paikoin vähän kökköä mutta yhyy)

Very first I need to point out that I did not DRAW this comic. Pics are copypasted from the NES-game Ufouria, and I've altered them with image editing program and made subtitles. All the original images, characters and names are property of Sunsoft who made the game.

I'd love to actually draw Ufouria comic, but I'm not nearly good enough. This way it looks much better and I can concentrate on the story. I wouldn't have dared to try this if I hadn't been stumbled upon other gaming comics which used the same technique. Zelda and Mario are popular themes, but I've found no other Ufouria comics.(please tell me if one exists!)

As I pointed out in my first blog-entry, this comic is made of love. I really love that game.
I first played it when I was kid, it was probably some christmas when we got that, and damn did it strike me! It was unusual in games to have big, explorable world(Zelda and Metroid being other good examples), and graphics were very good for a NES-game too.
Puzzles were confusing to us, little kids as we were, but mom and dad helped us and dad even played the game himself. :D

Now I'm a grown man and I still play lots of games.(and also read lots of webcomics!) Ufouria haven't lost it's shine during the years, I still enjoy it. And it's time to give something back. Kinda. I doubt Sunsoft people will ever read this.(if you do, HI!)
'Cause I think fanfiction is best way to show your respect to piece of fiction you liked(in addition of actually buying the product, of course)
Okay, in the very first pages I was just mocking the games weirdness, but that was because I had no idea of what the story would be yet, only the desire to do this comic. Now I've got a clue and I'm hoping to give you a great adventure.
It'll be partly following the game events(item and character locations etc.), but a whole different and hopefully interesting plot.

Comments and critique are of course welcome. :)

Yours truly,
Mikro Pop
