Naurettavaa miten vajaa kaksisataa vuotta ei muuta mitään. Tulevaisuus on edelleen pitkä pimeä käytävä ja ovi sen päässä tiukasti kiinni. Nykyajan Emma Bovary [minä] panee iltaisin myös entistä apeampana toivonsa huomiseen.
