Jenkit syyttää Syyriaa, Israel Irania, miksi sitten Libanon on se joka kärsii?
Libanon pyytää kansainväliseltä taholta asiaan puuttumista ja tulitaukoa. Kofi Annan haluaisi tätä myös, mutta Israel on se joka haraa vastaan. Hyökkäys ei lopu ennenkuin Israel painostetaan lopettamaan. Koska länsi ei sitä halua tehdä ja ne muutamat euroopan maat vain pyörittävät peukaloitaan, asiaan puututaan Iranista tai Syyriasta, mielestäni oikeutetusti.
Alueella on ydinaseita varmasti vain yhdessä paikassa (Turkkia lukuunottamatta).
Israelissa, 100-200 ydinasetta, jotka kehiteltiin salassa ja jonka salaisuuden paljastamisesta insinööri Vanunu on edelleen vangittuna.
On tietenkin mahdollista (ja huhua) että Irakissakin olisi muutama jenkkien ydinkärki.

Since 2004, the US, Israel and Turkey have formulated concrete war plans involving air raids on Iran's nuclear sites. Israel is slated to play a direct role in the US sponsored military operation against Iran, which is also the object of consultations at the G8 meeting in St. Petersburg on July 15-17.

Since late 2004, Israel has been stockpiling US made weapons systems in anticipation of an attack on Iran. This stockpiling, which is financed by US military aid was largely completed in June 2005. Israel has taken delivery from the US of several thousand "smart air launched weapons" including some 500 'bunker-buster' bombs, which can also be used to deliver tactical nuclear bombs. US tactical nuclear weapons have been deployed by the US and several of its allies and could be used against Iran. Israel's thermonnuclear missiles are pointed at Tehran.

The participation of Turkey in the US-Israeli military operation is also a factor, following a 2004 agreement reached between Ankara and Tel Aviv.

On se. Pari vuotta minua vanhempi tyyppi saa 7 luotia päähänsä pelkästään sen perusteella että näyttää hieman muslimilta (brasilialainen) ja sattuu olemaan kiire metroon. Tätä hallitus pitää oikeutettuna politiikkana, samalla kun poliisiasema estää tutkimusten toteuttamista, julkaisee vääriä tietoja ja 'pelaa' syyttäjän kanssa syytearvontapeliä.

Tapauksesta huolimatta, Lontoon poliisilaitos käyttää edelleen 'ammutaan-ensin-kysellään-myöhemmin' -taktiikkaa, kohdatessaan terroristiepäiltyjä, nuoria muslimin näköisiä miehiä kuten De Menezes.

Jos Obradorista ei tule Meksikon presidenttiä, odotettavissa on lisää protesteja ja mahdollisesti Zapatista -sissien uudelleennousu. Latinalaisessa amerikassa valta vaihtuu helposti jos kansa ei ole tyytyväinen. Se on jotain mistä harva suomalainen tietää mitään.
