Hi. Heinäkuun aikana äänittelin sähköisiä sekä akustisia kitaroita ja hiukan syntetisaattoriakin Soma-yhtyeen vanhojen nauhoitusten päälle. Osansa saivat muutamat roikkumaan jääneet kappaleet. Niille on myös synnytelty tekstejä lomamatkojen ohessa. Uudet (=vanhat) kappaleet ovat muuttaneet muotoaan riittävästi, jotta niissä jonkinlaista tuoreuttakin olisi.

Ideoissa on muokata valmista albumia sen verran, että 2-4 kappaletta saa lähdöt ja tilalle tulee sitten saman verran uusia (=vanhoja). Tiedä tuosta. Kaikki on aivan epävarmaa. Jonkinlainen muutos on varmaa. Ehkä.

Erityisen tyytyväinen olen vuosikausia kovalevyillä roikkuneiden kappaleiden muotoutumisesta sekä tekstien, että soitannuksen osilta julkaisukelpoisiksi sovituksiksi. Enää tarvitaan kunnollinen laulumikrofoni, jotta nuo olisivat valmiita miksattaviksi. Ja edullinen miksaaja. Ei lisäkuluja enää. Nyyh.
